Ladies’ Bible Study will not be meeting over the holidays.  Study will resume at the regular time,1:00 pm for fellowship and 1:30 pm for study on January 10^th.

Our offering on Christmas Eve will be for the Caribou House Church Ministry, of the Presbyterian Church of Canada.  This is a ministry of outreach in to the rural areas for Central BC – in the Cariboo and Chilcotin regions.  Instead of using a church building, the congregation meets in small groups in the homes of members.

Rev. David Webber and his wife Linda have pioneered this ministry since 1989.  They were joined by a clergy couple Rev. Shannon and Rev. John Wyminga in 1994.  These two couples travel many kilometers each week to lead worship services in up to fourteen widely scattered locations.  David Webber says, “We believe this is true mission, that is, taking the church of Christ to rural people who live beyond the traditional church.”

The support for this comes from national church, the house churches and congregations around BC, like ourselves.

There is a box in the Narthex marked “Ann Elmore House”.  Thank you!

There will be 2 crafts available: Please arrive early in order to have them finished before the potluck eating begins!

*The children can make a very youngster friendly craft ornament to take home.

*All of the supplies will be provided to make a Christmas centre piece for each table. These can be taken home afterwards.   If you have a special arrangement dish please bring it with you.
