Music in Worship:
For some, singing or playing music is a natural response to God — a way of praising, praying, and proclaiming, that allows them to fully engage in worship. For others who may not like to sing, worship music can still be a way of connecting with God, by reading the lyrics and offering them up to God silently, or by simply listening and allowing your spirit to connect with the beauty of the music itself.
We use a blend of traditional hymns & contemporary worship songs in our services, accompanied by a pianist and occasionally a violinist or guitarist. From time to time, our choir sings an anthem during the service as an offering of praise.
Our choir meets most Thursday evenings for practice. New members are always welcome! For info, contact Helga, our Choir Director, or send us an email.
Praise Jam is an informal evening of contemporary praise music. Bring your voice and/or instrument and join us! (Currently on hiatus; please speak to Darlene Z. for more info.)
